July: Margarita

Bright, zesty, and always a crowd-pleaser, the margarita is a classic that brings a little sunshine to any occasion. Whether you like it on the rocks, straight up, or with a spicy kick, it’s the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and salty.

Ingredients:

  • 37.5ml tequila

  • 22.5ml triple sec

  • 22.5ml lime juice

  • Dash of agave

  • Pinch of salt

  • Lime wedge

  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Prep your glass – Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into salt or sugar.

  2. Combine ingredients – In a shaker, add 37.5ml tequila, 22.5ml triple sec, 22.5ml lime juice, a dash of agave, a pinch of salt, and a handful of ice.

  3. Shake it up – Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

  4. Strain & serve – Strain into your prepared glass over fresh ice (or straight up, if you prefer).

  5. Garnish – Add a lime wedge for a finishing touch.

Tips:

  • Use fresh lime juice – It makes all the difference for that bright, zesty flavor.

  • No agave? Try simple syrup or even a touch of honey if needed.

  • Get creative – Add a splash of orange juice or muddle in some fresh fruit (like strawberries or jalapeño) for a fun twist.
